Privacy Policy
AuraBee lets you share posts, reviews, comments, images, and messages using a public identity you choose.
Information used by the service
Authentication uses your email and login provider information. Your public name, username, avatar, bio, posts, comments, reviews, likes, and follows can be visible to others. Local area is optional and approximate; the app does not request exact location. We store your age attestation rather than a birth date.
Ghost Mode and messages
Ghost Mode hides your public identity on supported public posts and comments. It does not erase the private link to your account. Authorized moderation can investigate abuse using that link. Other users receive only the Ghost identity. Chat always uses your normal identity.
Safety and service providers
Authentication, database records, and uploaded media are processed through Supabase. The web app and API use the configured hosting providers. Reports, account blocks, rate-limit counters, and moderation decisions are used to prevent abuse. Browser storage keeps sessions, preferences, and temporary posting drafts. Movie discovery can send search terms to Google when that integration is enabled.
Deletion and retention
You can request account deletion from the Account settings or the public web deletion page. There is a 30-day grace period. Signing back in cancels a pending request. After that period the cleanup process removes your account, public content, private messages associated with your account, and uploaded media. Security audit records retain account identifiers, decision reasons, and timestamps for abuse investigation; they do not retain copies of your content. Backup copies expire according to the provider retention settings.
Service operators must publish their contact details and confirm their security-audit and backup retention schedules before public release.
